Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other. So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias. Michelle and Rima, the admins of the OMEGA X World Wide account on Twitter, are the next fans to answer our questions. They are fans of OMEGA X! Check out how they entered the fandom, the songs and content they advise to new fans, and much more! Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from? Hello I’m admin Michelle 🍏. I’m one of the admins from the OMEGA X fanbase “OMEGA X World Wide”, and I live in the USA. Michelle Hello, I’m admin Rima 🍎. I’m the other admin from the OMEGA X fanbase “OMEGA X World Wide”, and I live in Australia. Rima How and when did you enter the fandom? I had entered the fandom predebut. I was a fan of some of the members’ old groups like SPECTRUM, ENOi, GIDONGDAE, and 1TEAM. I had seen on twitter that there were teaser videos of OMEGA X and it had possibly JungHoon and Hyuk being in the group. I later found out they were in the debut line up after we created our Twitter page. Michelle I joined the fandom because I had already been a fan of the boys’ former groups like 1TEAM, ENOi, and 1THE9. After their disbandment, I was upset but then I heard that they are joining OMEGA X. I was overjoyed and wanted to continue to support the boys in their journey. Rima What are the reasons why you love your favorite group? I love this group because they persevered to keep going for their dreams. They always try to interact with fans, like on V Lives, they try to talk in English so that international FOR X can understand them as well. They are just all around amazing and so hardworking, that’s why I love them. Michelle I love them because I like their music, personality and I like how they all fit well together as a group. I like that they are so hardworking. I like it when they go on V Live and talk to FOR X. Rima Who is your bias, and why? Picking a bias in this group is very hard haha. I think my bias would have to be JaeHan. JaeHan’s my bias because he’s so talented, hardworking, and just because I’ve seen how much he’s grown as an artist since 2018. Michelle When I stan a group, I like their vibe and how they interact with each other. Not just one single person catches my eye and I like getting to know all of them. I can’t really choose a bias, so I bias OT11. Rima Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans? For a title track I recommend ‘What’s Goin’ On’ and a B-side track recommendation is ‘ICETAG’. Michelle Hmm choosing a title track to recommend is going to be hard. I think I’ll recommend ‘Vamos’. For a B-side track I recommend ‘Action’. Rima Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers? The group encourages us to always improve our Korean. They encourage us to follow our dreams for our passions.Michelle & Rima What type of variety show would you like them to do? I would love to see OMEGA X doing a camping type variety show! Michelle I would love to see OMEGA X on “Knowing Brothers” and “Running Man”. Rima If you go to only one, would you go to a concert, fan meeting, or fan sign? I would also go to their concert because I would love to see their performances in person and to just have memories of seeing them perform! Michelle I would definitely go to their concert so I could get see their amazing performances!! Rima What is your biggest dream for your favorite group/bias aside from being happy and healthy? My biggest dream for OMEGA X is for them to one day to be 1st on Billboard! I also dream that they win more awards as well! Michelle My biggest dream for OMEGA X is for them to gain more fans and to become more well know as artists. Another dream is for their music to get higher up in the charts. And I dream that they win more awards. I dream for them to be healthy and happy. Rima What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying? Our favorite sides of being fans is getting to support the groups we like and getting to watch different contents to know their personality and see them as friends. Also, we never get bored.
